TCPAWORLD AFTER DARK: Time…

Time isn’t a construct or a law of nature in the true sense of the word.

It is an unveiling of information that is already determined yet simply unavailable to most until the event horizon is lifted.

As many of you know, the Czar can see small distances into the future at stretches, but I do remain human to some degree… so even I have limits.

But time remains very much on my side. Where it belongs and feels safe.

George Clooney is 62. Brad Pitt is 60. Robert Downey Jr. 58.

Your beloved Czar is now 45.

So odd to be a 20 year attorney.

For so long I was this untouchable child genius. Always outpacing attorneys decades older than me by every conceivable metric.

But now I am aging.

Not such a bad thing though.

Perhaps the unveiling has brought my physical visage more in line with that unseemly heavy dignity that shrouds the Czar at every turn, despite his best efforts to brush it aside with funny costumes, a careless smile or an easy turn of phrase.

No. It just clings to me. No matter what.

There’s a reason for it, of course.

In my youth it must have been unsettling to behold, but now in the full plumage of my experienced grays it so much easier to accept the truth…

But it also means, my time is almost up– so enjoy me while you have me loves.

I will only be on this legal circuit for another year or two max. Politics calls.

Naturally, I have to let the world get just so messed up before I step in and fix everything with breathless ease.

Have to wait until everyone agrees it is simply impossible to set things right before I go and do it. While calling my shots all along.

Otherwise it won’t be the miracle it is supposed to appear… 🙂

So you have me for a smidgen longer.

I promise these will be days that will be talked about for many years once the Czar is no longer so easy to find. Take it all in while you can.

Preserve all those “I was theres” and “Remember that time” moments…

Time is on my side.

But in this respect, at least, it isn’t on yours.

🙂

See you soon.

Update: sweet note from a CEO pal– “Don’t go into politics……you will be greatly disappointed. You are so friggin’ good at your day job. Go into politics when you are 55. Not in your prime.” Sorry friends, it is already ordained. But it is for the best. And it can be no other way. 🙂
