NOT SO TIP TOP: Court Awards $27,500 to Brandon Callier in TCPA Suit Against Vadim Shtivelman and Tip Top Capital

Everyone knows Brandon Callier around TCPAWorld.

How the guy has survived so long filing TCPA cases of highly questionable merit is beyond me. But here he is. Collecting chips.

In Callier v. Tip Top Capital,  2024 WL 1237052 (W.D. Tex. March 22, 2024) Callier was awarded $27,500 for 21 calls that allegedly violate the TCPA.

In the case Callier sued Defendants Tip Top Capital and its alleged owner, some guy named Adim Shtivelman.

The Court found Tip Top was not properly served but found Adim was. But Adim did not show up. So Adim was defaulted.

When you don’t show up to a defend a case bad things happen. And here the Court entered an award of $27,500.00 against Adim.

I guess that’s how Callier has stuck around so long. People don’t show up to defend themselves.

So the Marketing Law Conference of Champions this summer has NOT yet sold out–I think a few people thought it had already– and you can still get IN PERSON tickets, as well as virtual. Get them now before they’re gone!
