Haven’t been to a “nightclub”–or whatever the kids call them these days–this millennium.
Lots of fun with good people.
Seriously, been at least 25 years since I stepped foot in a dance hall of any variety.
But when Darren Blatt personally invites you to the Affiliate Ball– and hooks you up with a premier VIP table for your crew– even the Czar has to make an appearance.

So we showed up at Drais at 9 pm sharp– probably the only folks to ever enter a Vegas nightclub at 9 pm.

We stayed for two polite hours, bought a magnum of Dom P for Lindsay– it was her 40th birthday!– and disappeared into the Las Vegas evening.
Truth be told it wasn’t nearly as awful as I expected. And I even blitzed past the 59 minute over/under that was put on my attendance that night by prop betters. (I would have taken the under.)

But the rest of Affiliate Summit West was a great time.
Everyone was so thankful for the work we did to thwart the one-to-one rule and our efforts in favor of industry generally.
Seriously at least 25 people stopped me to thank me as I walked around the show.
Felt amazing. Really wonderful.
So many supporters.
Truly very special.
And very nice hooting and hollering of support when I took the stage to speak.
