$1.3MM IN TCPA DEFENSE FEES?: All Web Leads For Allegedly Failing to Defend TCPA Suits Caused By Its Leads–And the Defense Costs Here Are Staggering

Just picked up this interesting complaint against All Web Leads, Inc.

The claim here is that AWL sold leads that lead to two massive TCPA class actions against Liberty Mutual.

Liberty allegedly asked AWL to defend the suits and the AWL allegedly refused to do so.

Apparently Liberty spent $1,359,260.13 defending the suits– which is just nuts (although settlement dollars may be included in that sum, can’t tell).

Pretty obvious undercurrents here:

  1. Be careful who you are buying leads from;
  2. AWL allegedly doesn’t stand behind its reps and warranties– is that true? Don’t know. You may want to ask them before buying their leads though; and
  3. TCPA class action defense can be VERY expensive.
  4. Full complaint here: Liberty Complaint

If you’re buying leads be VERY cautious about who you are working with. Consider joining Responsible Enterprises Against Consumer Harassment (R.E.A.C.H.) to discover lead sellers that meet the absolute highest quality standards in the business.

It could save you a million bucks. 🙂
