The 2025 robocall spike continues with Americans enduring over 4BB monthly robocalls in September– a trend that has continued now for the 20th consecutive month.
Per YouMail’s robocall index, year to date Americans have received over 40,765,000,000 robocalls– that’s nearly 2 billion MORE robocalls than they received through the same period last year.
This although the Czar handed Washington the blueprint to prevent robocalls two years ago!
Some good progress has been made recently– the FCC’s new NPRM focusing on foreign-originated calls is a real bright spot, as is the new foreign robocall elimination act (I wonder where they got that idea) hahah:
But more is needed.
