Hello TCPA World. This is just a quick notification that CalPrivacy has made new resources available on its website. According to the notification the agency sent, the new resources are now available on their website at privacy.ca.gov/data-brokers. These resources cover information related to deletion request processing – from API documentation to workflow details – to support your organization’s compliance with the Delete Act.
This is a reminder that Beginning August 1, 2026, all data brokers doing business in California will be required to:
- Access DROP within 45 days to download consumer deletion lists
- Standardize and hash your records
- Match and process deletion requests
- Report the status of each request within 45 days of the download date
