This email from EMF today reminded me so much of another email I saw not long ago.

And then remember this?
Two and a half months.
That’s how long a 40 year old organization lasted after sending a disastrous email crossing the Czar.
And now MEF has done the same thing.
How long do you think they’ll last?
Over under, 75 days.
Second thing. This line from the email:
“While these attacks were unwanted and uncalled for, our organisation becoming a target probably confirms that MEF has become more influential and grown to be truly part of the foundation of our industry.”
So the Czar recognizing their existence is “probably” proof of their worthiness.
Perhaps.
The Czar noting your existence could be a sign you’re all grown up. If you behave like a grown up.
But..
You know the thing about emails like this, is they show weakness not strength.
Immaturity. Not maturity.
Defensive.
Reactive.
Desperate?
Who is Robert really talking to? Who is he trying to placate? Who is he afraid of out there?
I mean, other than me.
It will be a fascinating 75 days or so…
