Big news from R.E.A.C.H. today.
The industry-leading trade group just updated its incredibly robust standards to align with new FTC guidance and require usage of the reassigned numbers database. Here is the statement from the organization’s LinkedIn site:
Pleased to announce our board has UNANIMOUSLY approved modifications to the R.E.A.C.H. standards to align with guidance from the Federal Trade Commission and to require the use of the Reassigned Numbers Database.
Per these standards R.E.A.C.H. members agree not to use prerecorded marketing calls in connection with purchased third-party leads.
Additionally, all R.E.A.C.H. members will agree to use the RND in connection with calls to numbers 60 days or past the last good (or lead) date associated with a number.
These updates further higlight R.E.A.C.H. members’ commitment to be the industry’s best and most responsible actors.
R.E.A.C.H. is also pleased and honored to welcome Ringba CEO Adam Young to its board along with ActiveProspect exec Margaret Wise. These two make incredible valuable additions to our dedicated board. Welcome!
