It has been said that freedom isn’t free.

That’s true.

But most folks don’t understand the true cost.

There are actually three parts to it.

Yes, we need to thank our veterans. They keep us safe from external foes. And we need them and we love them.

And we must ALWAYS honor and respect them.

But that’s only one third of the equation.

We also need to thank our TRUE journalists. Those who tell us the TRUTH. Not the liars. Not the agenda servers. Those who give their hearts, blood, and souls– and many who risk their very lives– to bring the truth.

Without truth we are lost as a society.

And last– and most important and overlooked– are the lawyers and judges who make sure the LAW is correctly and faithfully applied and NEVER overrun.

Our greatest protector of freedom will ALWAYS be the bill of rights our great CONSTITUTION.

And today we celebrate THAT– and those who serve it, either through the military, the press, or the courts.

My hat is off to all of you.

Actually my hat is off to hundreds of you today.

We gave away over $10,000.00 in hats today.

Totally free.

Just handed them off to everyone to celebrate the 4th of July in Irvine.

We ran out at the end.

I gave the hat off my head to a nice lady.

And my team followed.

They all gave away their hats as well.

We give all we can in the small way we can.

Because we love this nation.
