Hi folks

Well the campaign is off and running.

I have gone and pledged $200,000.00 of my own money to try to save the nation. Hoping all of you can help me out a bit—maybe $200.00 each?

Here’s the concept.

I am convinced that the majority of people are independent thinkers and not partisans. Those who identify as Democrats or Republicans do so more because they don’t like the other side than because they actually believe anything the party is trying to sell them on their narrow vision for America.

That means the majority of people are simply not being represented in D.C. right now- just watching as the two sides fight each other and shut down the government in their dysfunction. That’s a huge problem.

But how do we fix it?

Simple.

We need QUALIFIED independent candidates to run for office who aren’t puppets beholden to party leadership. People who will actually represent the people in their districts and help America as a whole.

People like me, obviously—but also people like you.

Now I am doing the tough part. Putting myself out there. Risking it all—and blowing a boatload of money while I am at it. Because I have a plan to fix literally everything—and I mean that.

It will take some time, but brick by brick we can set the system working properly again.

If you know me, you know what I am capable of. And when I say the system can be fixed—and that it won’t even be that tough—you know to believe it.

And it starts right now. With this blog post.

And with you.

This is not some vacant fundraising plea from a cold-hearted candidate or a political party pitching its wares. This is your friend and Czar—Eric J. Troutman—asking, from the bottom of my heart, to help me do this thing.
