In other news, Todd attributes most of his success to Abbas Kazerounian– the Godfather of TCPA class actions– who got Todd started in the TCPA world. As fate would have it, Abbas learned about his big win in the Marks case via text messages received from Todd Friedman who alerted him via NSFW text messages. I couldn’t help but ask Todd about his take on Marks and those now legendary (expletive-laden) texts to Abbas informing him of the ground changing Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal ruling.
