GOVERNMENT COMES OUT AGAINST CREASY: DOJ Files Brief Urging TCPA is Constitutional After All

I know everyone is headed off for the weekend, but real quick– the DOJ just filed a brief opposing PETA’s Creasy motion in a suit in California and I wanted to make sure you saw it.

The brief is confidently written and characterizes PETA’s position as “meritless.”  No words are minced here:  “PETA May Be Held Liable For Calls and Texts Sent Before the Supreme Court’s Decision in AAPC” reads a section header.

The full brief is here: Government Brief Against Creasy

Worth a read.

With the score already 8-3 against Creasy I don’t like this new development. We’ll keep an eye on it.

Stay safe out there TCPAWorld and Happy Weekend!
