Well its the holiday season and #biglaw has decided you all deserve a lump of coal in your stockings this year.

In fact, Above the Law is reporting that #BIGLAW is preparing to jack rates up on their clients—who already pay too much—by an astounding 8% moving into 2023:

I guess they figure if you’ll pay $2,000 an hour you’ll pay $2,160 an hour, amiright?

Eesh.

Per the articles, these are “record’ and “aggressive” rate hikes by these firms designed to “make up” for inflation:

“We’re seeing higher planned rate increases at this point than we’ve ever seen, and we’ve been tracking this for 15 years.” –

YIKES.

Well forget that.

Its the holidays. Law firms should be looking for ways to reward client loyalty, not punish them!
