Today we received word the FCC’s NPRM has been formally published in the Federal Register.

Comment dates are set for May 8 and June 6.

The FCC has already taken note of R.E.A.C.H.’s advocacy and noted its standards and its goal of stopping half a billion to a billion robocalls a month. We’ve also already met with the Commission’s staff once in an effort to beat back Public Knowledge’s disastrous proposal to require consent to be provided DIRECTLY to a good/service provider.
