Quick (very funny) story for you today.
Troutman Amin, LLP enjoys an incredibly powerful reputation–no surprise.
Not only does the firm effectuate massive change at the policy level and help orchestrate industry-wide initiatives through our work with R.E.A.C.H., we are also one of the most sought-after counsel for TCPA compliance at advice thanks to Queenie’s presence.
And, oh by the way, any team that has the Czar at the reigns is also automatically the most capable and experienced TCPA class action defense firm on the planet. This is so because–with over 500 successful TCPA class action defenses to date– there is simply no one else out there who has done this more times and is more committed and focused on it than I am. 🙂
Anthony Paronich–the Wolf himself–once said he was going to stop suing my clients because it just “wasn’t worth it” given how hard we fight and the limited settlement dollars our clients tend to pay. Other plaintiff’s lawyers have been less express about ducking us, but the fact is the entire Plaintiff’s bar tends to stay from Troutman Amin, LLP on hot button issues and fight issues–like ATDS cases–against other law firms.
I take all of this as a compliment, of course.
Well one repeat litigator–Nathan Barton–has recently apparently become so desperate to avoid going against us that he has essentially taken to paying TCPA defendants to switch counsel.
I’m serious.
Specifically he is apparently conveying settlements demands with 50% discounts if the TCPA defendant will agree to switch lawyers and not use Troutman Amin, LLP!!!
I have never heard of such thing but I absolutely love it. Highest imaginable compliment. No firmer evidence of the power of the firm then when folks are literally paying folks to use different lawyers. Hahahaha.
For a moment I actually thought about suing him for it–there is a tort of intentional interference with economic relations that fits perfectly here–but then I realized we’d never suffer any damages from this since OBVIOUSLY no client of the firm has ever (or would ever) take him up on his offer to switch lawyers. And when people hear about this–which they will now :)– they’ll be lining up to hire us.
So I figured I’d blog about it–and he actually gave me permission to do so, which I could not believe. (Where is that crying laughing emoji thing?)
Its just one more shining example of the power of Troutman Amin, LLP and just how desperate some folks have become to avoid us out there. There is literally only ONE household name in TCPA compliance and class action defense–and remarkably you won’t pay more for using us in most instances.
Well, unless you’re settling a case with Nathan Barton that is. 😉
Let the settlers call someone else. Let the fighters come and fight.
(And yes I am resting for Solstice, but this was just TOO funny.)
Holiday party pictures soon–I PROMISE.
Also wait until you see the cover for Deserve to Win Issue 3!

Too funny, as you may or may not know our Lawsuit and Counter suit agaisnt him starts January 29th. We have so much evidence against him it is comical. Sounds like him though, to do and say soemthing like this
That is absolutely hilarious! Can I correctly assume that you will not be sending him a Christmas card this year?
Hey, Troutman, I wanted to take a look at this guy’s cases, but when I ran his name through the PACER index I did not find any TCPA cases involving him. Where is this guy filing?
