By the Numbers– Let’s take a Quick Look at the MEF Miami “Leadership Forum”

So next week a lightly-attended conference near the Miami airport will kickoff with 24 male speakers addressing a mostly-male audience while 9 ladies try to get a word in on panels.
The event is called MEF “Leadership” Forum–and by “leadership” I presume they mean “dudes.”
You’ll recall Puja was originally invited to speak on a panel but then was given the boot because I said a few things about TCR that TJ and Dario didn’t like.
And despite MEF’s ironic codes of conduct requiring ” open, considerate, and respectful” communication with speakers and attendees at events, Dario was ANYTHING BUT.
He never explained why he booted Puja–although we all know why. He certainly wasn’t considerate. And his two line dismissive email to her was certainly no respectful.
But obviously these are not people who take any code seriously. And that’s ok.
So looking at the remnants of the panel Puja was supposed to be on, it currently consists of three guys and a young lawyer who happens to look up to Puja quite a bit. I would be SHOCKED if Alexis and Kevin Rupy move forward with this panel without Puja on it.
Absolutely shocked.
Kevin and Puja hanging out together…
But it won’t happen. They’re good people with integrity. Not the sort of weaklings that would bow down to men like TJ and Dario.
Of course, the MEF website actually still has Puja listed as providing compliance advice on the panel! hahahaha. Hopefully no one shows up expecting to hear from her.

The conference will also address the significant impacts of the 2024 political season and AI developments on messaging and privacy, offering insights into how to prepare for these evolving challenges.

Nice website guys!

So of 33 speakers, 24 are men (btw 21 of whom are white men–although I’m not playing that card, it does just jump out at you) and 9 are women.

On the other hand, the more than 50% of the speakers at the incredible Law Conference of Champions will be women.

Well how about that?

Even is in Irvine, California July 15, 2024! Chat soon.

  1. This is prob the wrong place to post this – but it’s worthy of being seen (and seems no ones comments EVER get posted except in your blog content)…

One of your competitors posted about the FCC revocation rules. However, 6 days BEFORE they posted: https://www.eversheds-sutherland.com/en/united-states/insights/fcc-order-codifies-rules-for-revocation-under-the-tcpa

    The Duchess posted this: https://tcpaworld.com/2024/03/05/what-just-happened-to-the-new-revocation-rule-the-fcc-only-published-one-portion/

No one is listed as the author of their blatantly false ‘Insight’ post, but if you know anyone over there you may want to let them know – or not!! It does make them look pretty lame, as they were quoting the Feb 15, 2024 FCC post to boot!!

See I can be a nice guy at times…
