FAIR WARNING!!– Troutman Amin, LLP Rates Are Set to SPIKE Next Year (So Get In Now!)

Troutman Amin, LLP partners after a great day in court!

Basically no law firm in America publicizes their rates. Not sure why that is, but they all keep it super secret.

None of that for me thanks.

Here’s the deal. I’m the luckiest guy in the world. Work with the best legal team on the planet. And everybody wants to be a part of it.

Love that, of course.

And market dynamics being what they are there is only a limited SUPPLY of something (us) that there is a massive DEMAND for all across the country.

So what does that mean?

Yep–prices go up.

Love you all. But sorry not sorry.

Let me be clear out front THIS PRICE INCREASE DOES NOT APPLY TO EXISTING CLIENTS!!!

We believe in LOYALTY around here.

Those who retained the firm back in 2022 got the lowest rates. Period. Because they were smart and loyal. And we will be loyal right back to them. Same thing with folks in 2023 and now in 2024.

We will NOT be raising rates on any client that retained us in 2023 or 2024 moving into 2025. Not even one dollar.

And those of you that retained us in 2022 will see a small (5%) adjustment, which I know you’re happy with because you’re getting such tremendous value (and we LOVE delivering that for you.)

But for the new folks that have stumbled upon us–or those that have been long time fence dwellers– well, you may want to jump on the opportunity to retain the firm and lock in rates. Because they’re about to skyrocket (especially for the Czar’s personal time.)

And now, the reveal!

Here is Troutman Amin, LLP’s current rate structure in 2024 (I tell you, no one does this):

2024 RATES

Troutman himself: $1,400.00/hr. (litigation) $2,100.00 (compliance) and $3,600.00/hr. (consulting).

Amin Herself: $1,200.00/hr. (litigation/compliance) and $2,400.00/hr. (consulting).

The Baroness: $1,080.00/hr

Associates  on the following scale:

  • First years: $580.00
  • Second years: $620.00
  • Third years: $660.00
  • Fourth years: $700.00
  • Fifth years: $740.00
  • Sixth Years: $770.00
  • Seventh Years: $810.00
  • Eighth years: $850.00
  • Ninth years and above: $890.00.

Yep. There it is. The big secret. Our rates. Hahaha.

But here’s the key. 2025 rates FOR NEW CLIENTS will be as follow:

ANTICIPATED 2025 RATES

Troutman himself: $2,100.00/hr. (litigation) $4,200.00 (compliance) and $6,300.00/hr. (consulting).

Amin Herself: $1,800.00/hr. (litigation/compliance) and $3,600.00/hr. (consulting).

The Baroness: $1,250.00/hr

Associates  on the following scale:

  • First years: $680.00
  • Second years: $720.00
  • Third years: $760.00
  • Fourth years: $800.00
  • Fifth years: $840.00
  • Sixth Years: $870.00
  • Seventh Years: $910.00
  • Eighth years: $950.00
  • Ninth years and above: $990.00.

Other timekeepers (clerks, paralegals, etc.) will also be going up.

So yeah, pretty big jump all the way down here. Still think we’re being pretty conservative considering HOW MANY PEOPLE NEED HELP as we move to the new one-to-one rule, but I always want to help people. So didn’t want to completely crush folks’ ability to retain us.

And without question $4,200.00 an hour for my compliance advice is still a MASSIVE BARGAIN. In 30 minutes I can save your business. So.. yeah.

But please understand we believe in fairness around here, so we are very transparent with our rates but also very inflexible. Its not fair to require one client to pay one rate while another pays a different rate (unless they signed up earlier–then its totally fair.) I know some law firms do that but it sucks in my view.

So please understand these ARE the rates people will be paying in 2025 for us (although we do have some super-secret buydown options for folks willing to pay a large true retainer up front.)

With dance moves like these, how could we not succeed?

Speaking of true retainers–the retainer requirement to engage the firm will also be going up in 2025 so… yeah. Engage us now if you’re going to.

Anyway there you go. Spread the word if there are some folks out there you think need our help. Don’t wait until 2025 folks!

  1. Could you turn this post into an affidavit for plaintiff’s lawyers to use to support reasonableness of their rates?! Asking for a friend.

  2. Send me a thick stack of your business cards and I will get them into the hands of some TCPA defendants.
