We just submitted probably the most impactful comment on AI in history to the FCC, and yet this is the message I just sent to the team:

“Love you all but if anyone uses ai for any work product (including blogs) that’s your last day with Troutman Amin.”

Anyone that tells you law firms should use AI is selling something. (AND BADLY.)

  1. Think about the vicious circle. Plaintiff’s attorney uses AI to draft the complaint. Defendant’s attorney uses AI to draft the Answer. Trial is held virtually with robotic animated witnesses. The Court uses AI to draft the decision. A complete loss of real intelligence. Hopefully, there is buttery popcorn being sold outside the virtual courtroom. Sadly, we are headed there.
