So last Friday Visalus declared bankruptcy. Killed by the TCPA.

VISALUS DECLARES BANKRUPTCY: Company is the Latest in a Line of Companies to Be Utterly Destroyed by the TCPA

Over the weekend one of the founders of Visalus emailed me to thank me for spreading awareness of the TCPA. Here are his words:

At least someone out there is telling the truth….

Just a quick message to say – Thank you.

Absolutely incredible that a guy who had just lost everything– who had once helped oversee a company doing nine figure revenue with over 100,000 distributors worldwide– took a minute to reach out to me with this note.

He wants you to know the truth.

He wants you to understand the penalties and the pain and the injustice of the TCPA so you don’t make the same “mistake” Visalus did.

On Monday of this week I took the stage at the big TCPA Summit.

Little surprise I began my remarks addressing the Visalus BK and the words of its former co-founder. I warned everyone–as I have time and time again–of the one-to-one rule and its potentially killer impacts.

“At least someone out there is telling the truth.”

Always have been.

Always will.
