The Czar on the main stage…
It seemed as if we couldn’t walk 10 feet without someone stopping us and thanking us for all we had done for the industry.

It was a remarkable feeling. And, of course, the Czar is used to being thanked and praised.

Our incredible staff!!!
But this LeadsCon somehow felt different. It was as if the entire industry was breathing a sigh of relief and was patting me and the team on the back for it.

Puja being amazing!
The feeling was very mutual, however. I was thankful the industry had listened and heeded the word.

Every single session at LeadsCon 2025, it seemed, had something to do with compliance or treating consumers the right way.

It was a like an entire bizarro world reversal of this same conference just a few years ago–when seemingly every session focued on how to “refuse friction” and “streamline lead flows,” sometimes code for “get consumers to give consent by any means necessary.”

Now, however, it is the lead buyers dictating the course. LeadsCon organizers told me the number of buyers attending the event skyrocketed this year as the message of compliance brought in the folks with the money to spend.

Awesome REACH booth…
Meanwhile R.E.A.C.H.– an organization committed to cleaning up the lead generation industry–was invited to provide an update on its own activities and upcoming legislative and regulatory issues while new members climbed aboard.

Isaac and I chatting about R.E.A.C.H.
Just a remarkable change.

And all of this, of course, was set in motion by Puja and I.

Seven years of tireless hard work has bourne incredible fruit.

An entire industry drawing up out of hiding in the dark, maturing and evolving and ready for its moment in the sun.

No wonder everyone wanted to thank us.

Big Bad John Henson in session
Our mission has been an incredible success. But, of course, there is so much yet to be done.

Regardless was just wonderful to see everyone at LeadsCon, especially Joey and Joe and all those who have worked so hard to further the mission of R.E.A.C.H.!

it is SO good to be home though. Every one of these lion stickers on the WaaS ad in the Southwest terminal at John Wayne airport represents a trip we have been on for Troutman Amin, LLP in just the last few months.

And that’s just trips on Southwest airlines!
Our mood right about now– winning but having fun all the time!!!
Truly the best team in the legal business. (Dare you to find a better one).

See you next time… hopefully at LCOC III!!!
