So its the two year anniversary of Troutman Amin, LLP today!

Technically the firm is a year older than that since is started it as Troutman Firm but the current brand and entity has now been in play for a full two years.

To celebrate, of course, we have famously stuck our name on a boat show and we are headed out to a wonderful party in Newport Beach tonight. Will be a ton of fun and it is making me chuckle how many people- some of them pretty random– have been asking me for tickets. Its fine though, will be a nice time.

For TCPAWorld purposes figured I’d do a quick timeline for everyone’s appearance at the firm with pictures. 🙂

Yes I am very powerful– but how much can I do alone? Needed a team.

 

So I came first back in April, 2022. There was an 11 day period when the firm was literally just me all alone on a laptop. Crazy to think right?

Then on May 9, 2022 the Baroness joined. She was amazing right from the start.

In June, 2022 we added our first assistant Kiera. She was great and would help us move the firm forward for about a year.

The Dame was a huge add– even though I prefer her as a red head!

In August, 2022 we picked up the Dame. Talk about a talent. The former prosecutor took our litigation engine to new heights.

But the big month was October, 2022– that’s when the Countess, Duchess and– perhaps most importantly– Queenie all joined the firm. We went from a 3 lawyer shop to a 5 lawyer and paralegal shop in one month!

We stayed this size until the formation of the new partnership Troutman Amin, LLP on May 1, 2023. Puja became an equity owner of the firm alongside me.

With the new entity formed we started growing again. We added another staff member in June, 2023 before adding the incredible Connor (paralegal) in September, 2023 and then a huge piece in October, 2023– my personal executive assistant Selah!

Still we did not add an attorney for the entire year of 2023– I know it seems like we grew so fast but we really took a long break on attorneys as we searched for the perfect talent.

Welcome to the stage, Big Bad John Henson!

The universe provided the match we were looking for in February, 2024 with the addition of the incredible John Henson! When we paired John’s incredible background with Queenie and the Duchess we now had the perfect compliance trio.

And after the bar exam in July 2024 we added three more incredible players– the beginning of “Chapter 2” of the firm. Kayla Kershen, Tamana Malik, and Blake Landis all joined within a week of each other.

 

Dani is a smooth operator.. 

In September, 2024 we added the incredible Dani– who has the same birthday as the firm (i.e. today!)–as Puja’s perfect executive personal assistant and in November, 2024 we added the last critical piece– a professional and dedicated legal secretary in Yasmeen.

In November, 2024 we signed that incredible Cal athletics deal.

Steven joined us in December, 2024 and Maxwell– our most recent attorney–joined in January, 2025 along with our stellar law clerk Gabby!

Just to add a little icing to this cake Ishana and Karina joined as office admins in December and January as well and that’s where you find us today.

10 attorneys. 2 paralegals. 2 law clerks. 1 legal secretary. 2 executive personals and 2 office professionals.
