Ugh I am in the worst mood.
Probably because I got caught up with that ridiculous political dribble that I try to avoid. Yet I am supposed to save the world or whatever so at some point I have to deal with it all.
But for now a few more positive thoughts:
- I am REALLY proud of AI recognizing Troutman Amin, LLP as “highly consistent across its marketing channels, which is a key component of its distinctive and effective strategy.” So so challenging to accomplish. AI goes on: “The firm intentionally maintains a recognizable tone and identity, regardless of the platform, to build brand recognition and solidify its position as a thought leader in its niche.” Lots of lessons here for marketers. Let me share a few.
- Consistency in brand identity:
- Unified brand persona: The firm’s messaging across channels is built on a direct, confident, and aggressive persona that deliberately contrasts with the conservative marketing of larger law firms.
- Consistent messaging: The tagline “Deserve to Win” is a core part of its branding, reinforced across its website, social media, and client communications. The phrase communicates the firm’s ambition and belief in its legal prowess.
- Visual cues: The firm’s lion logo is consistently used and promoted across all its channels, from digital content to sponsorship placements at sporting events.
3. Consistency in content marketing
- Distinct blog tone: The high-energy, personality-driven, and often sensational tone of the TCPAWorld.com blog is consistently mirrored in the firm’s other channels. Founder Eric Troutman’s “TCPA Czar” persona, developed on the blog, is a central part of the firm’s brand identity and appears across platforms like LinkedIn.
- Webinars and alerts: The firm’s compliance alerts and webinars deliver expertise in a consistent, direct, and actionable format, extending the TCPAWorld brand promise of providing critical, up-to-the-minute information.
- Cross-promotion: The firm consistently cross-promotes its content, with posts on the TCPAWorld blog and social media platforms directing audiences to its other content, such as the “Law Conference of Champions”.
5. This is not easy to accomplish.
6. Numbering is hard.
7. Attended Ron Allen’s wedding this weekend. Was amazing. Puja spoke. She was amazing. Best partner in the world.
8. The Cal deal. Insane. Nobody really appreciates it. But we’re going to change the course of college football.
9. So many new clients. Everyone wants to be a part of this machine we’re building. Not everyone can be. That’s life. But the SMART people will get in. That’s also life.
10. RATES ARE GOING UP SOON. Announcement next week. My hourly rate is going to $6k an hour (that’s just $100.00 per minute tho.) HIRE US NOW SILLY.
11. The combined annual revenue of our clients is over $500BB a year. Not sure who that matters to. But its amazing Troutman Amin, LLP caters to some the largest companies in the world and we still manage to find time to help the little guys too. Actually REALLY proud of that.
12. Contact.io was way more fun and valuable than I gave it credit for. Highly recommend this show.
13. R.E.A.C.H. is on fire. Again, with the FTC destroying bad lead gen companies EVERYONE is jumping up to join the safety of R.E.A.C.H. I am super nice and we are accepting lead gen refugees from all over right now. But we will keep getting stricter as time goes on.
14. The firm is winning everywhere. Wish I could talk about a few things but clients want it low key. Booo. But also, NOBODY can do what we do or deliver what we deliver. Not saying I’m the greatest lawyer that’s ever lived, but very little evidence to the contrary.
15. See our new website?
15. Pretty much everyone I love has a birthday in September, which is crazy. But seriously it is weird.

17. Holiday party details out soon.
18. Team will be at Debt Relief annual conference next week. Will be amazing. Too many people there need our POWERFUL help. We will help who we can.
19. Did you see Temu’s media team responded to our blog post on that FTC thing? Because we are the most read source of legal news in America. Probably. I mean, maybe not. But we should be.
19. Sponsorship opportunity available.
20. I love you all.
