To say 2025 has been a blowout year for TCPA class actions is a bit of an understatement.

2024 had the highest volume of TCPA class actions ever, and through July, 2025 class action filing numbers have MORE THAN DOUBLED.

The August numbers are in and they are either devastating or not so bad, depending on your perspective.

There were 162 TCPA class actions filed in August, 2025– a 57% increase over August, 2024’s total of 103 filings.

While a 57% increase in filings is an ASTOUNDING increase– it actually represents a deceleration considering previous months have seen between 90-110% increases YoY.

  1. So you have the number of class actions filed per robocalls made down to a mere 25,308,000 to 1. Here is a thought…. how about you work to reduce the number of robocalls to zero and see if that helps with the number of class actions filed. Or is that not in your best interest?
