#BIGLAW BEHAVING BADLY: Troutman Pepper (NOT Amin!), Lewis Brisbois and Jones Day All In The News This Week For the Worst Reasons

Troutman Pepper is my least favorite law firm in America.

Because they use my name!

NO TROUTMANS WORK THERE!

And they refuse to change their name, presumably because they get so much positive attention thanks to consumers being confused into thinking I work there.

I have LITERALLY been told by clients “We accidentially hired the wrong Troutman [pooper] thinking it was your firm.”

INSANE they get away with it.

But to make matters worse they are allegedly a bunch of rascist sexist bigots or something– that according to a lawsuit filed by a former associate.

While Troutman Pooper originally claimed the suit had no merit and they were going to fight it to the death– guess what? THEY JUST SETTLED IT!!!!

I wonder why?

Awful.

(Anyone want to leak the amount of the settlement give me a call–I will protect my source!!!)

Also, change the name of your law firm!

But TP is not the only #biglaw firm accused of bad behavior this week.

Lewis Brisbois is embroiled in what may be the nastiest lawsuit ever against a law firm. Per a new filing reported by Law360 “A former national billing director of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP filed a lawsuit in California state court this week accusing the firm of ignoring racist conduct and sexual harassment by partners, and alleging unethical billing practices and even embezzlement.”

What the hell?

WHEN THE NATIONAL BILLING DIRECTOR OF YOUR FIRM ACCUESES YOU OF UNETHICAL BILLING PRACTICES YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE!!!!

And last but not least, of course, Jones Day’s disastrous hack resulted in some hackers gaining access to confidential client files and I just don’t understand why ANYONE would hire #biglaw right now.

These guys are literally a mess!

Meanwhile Troutman Amin, LLP just pulled off its 15th consecutive quarter of growth, is about to throw its amazing fourth Law Conference of Champions and is adding lawyers hand over first as its client-base (and geographic footprint) continues to expand.

For anyone that thought the firm would suffer as my political campaign rockets into space– nope!
