Everyone is talking about the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) and the Electronic Communications Protection Act (ECPA).
Together these statutes are the most litigated privacy statute in the world right now– and the risk for non-compliance is remarkably high; up to billions in exposure in class litigation.
Yet remarkably few lawyers have the knowledge or experience to handle these complex cases and virtually no resources are available for those hoping to understand the law.
Well that all changes May 6, 2026 at Law Conference of Champions IV.
Troutman Amin, LLP partner Brittany Andres– known as the “Baroness”– will be leading an all star panel of the brightest minds across multiple verticals to give you everything you need to know about the hottest privacy litigation trends out there.
Check out these panelists:
First, Lauren Lin CHIEF LEGAL OFFICE at Wealthfront. I mean, do I need to go any further? Lauren is brilliant and literally runs the entire legal machinery for a 12 figure financial advisory. If anyone knows her stuff on data privacy litigation and enterprise response to assure compliance it is Lauren. I am absolutely thrilled to have her out!!
Then we have Pavin Kang– associate general counsel at Kajabi, an all-in-one platform used to create, market, and sell digital products, online courses, coaching programs, and communities. What a perch! Pavin was a fan favorite last year with friendly practical advice people really ate up.
We also have Anna Mogilevski, privacy counsel for AM Healthcare. Absolutely wonderful to have Anna onboard to discuss privacy litigation trends impacting healthcare– WE HAVE OUTGROWN HIPPA FOLKS! Sure HIPPA compliance still matters but the biggest data privacy risks to healthcare enterprise is no longer HIPPA, it is CIPA and related statutes– and AM can help tell you why!
Lat but never least we have the incredible John Klapcick. Another returner, John may be the sharpest guy at the conference this year. He is truly brilliant and as the Deputy General Counsel for Citizens Disability he understands data privacy on a whole different level than most lawyers. This guy is a gem and you’re going love hearing from him.
It all goes down 3:15 pm on Wednesday May 6, 2026.
You will DEFINITELY want to be there in person. But virtual option is available for those who can’t make the trek to California– presented by Caller ID Reputation.
Hope to see you all there for two full days of learning, networking, and CLE.
