Nathen Barton Wins a Jury Trial….

Trying a case to a jury is one of the hardest things a litigator can do– even a trained and experienced litigator can fumble when there are 12 real life people watching your every move.

And let me tell you– the art of keeping people waling down your lane while also keeping evidence and argument to the court in accord with the rules is very challenging.

I have been known to sleep for 24 hours after a jury trial– it takes everything out of you.

But Nathen Barton apparently just tried a TCPA case to a jury up in Washington. No lawyer. Just him.

And he won.

Now $73k is likely the lowest jury award I have ever seen.. but still. A jury win is a jury win.

Will provide more detail when I have it.

Chat soon.
