So not a TCPA case here but picked up this very interesting FLSA filing against a major BPO and figured folks in the TCPAWorld should be aware.
Pitch Perfect Solutions is being sued by a former employee claiming call center workers were forced to work odd hours and were not compensated for overtime and all time worked. Employees also allegedly had to receive coaching, training and do other admin work they were not paid for.
Not going to spend too much time on this because it is an employment law issue and not a TCPA or telecom issue but if you run a call center make sure you’re paying folks for all time they’re actually working! Skimping out on pay is the worst way to try to make a buck. Not good.
Not saying any of the allegations are true BTW– but just making sure folks in the call center world know this is out there.
