As I wrote a couple weeks back, I thought I would do a little “off the grid” content for DNC.com and agreed to join a webinar on the new TCPAfiling apps that folks are using. For those of you who don’t know, there are apps now that allow you to automatically sue so-called “robocallers” with the push of a button.
Check out a clip glamorizing this pursue-a-legal-claim-without-thinking-it-through innovation here:
So anyway I thought it was interesting enough to join a quick webinar on the topic– since conferences are dead I guess I get to do webinars now– and assumed a handful of folks would show up. Apparently, however, OVER 600 PEOPLE registered to attend this thing–without any promotion on my part whatsoever.
In any event, the show went great–we covered how these things work and how to protect yourself (as you’d expect) and covered a few other very interesting TCPA and data-tracking related issues.
I know most of you have already checked this thing out–and thanks to all who sent me notes after (sorry if I didn’t get back to you until now)–but any of you who missed out you NEED to listen in or you might get robo-sued! You can find it here.
