Hi friends
Its the best day of the year!
The day I get to announce that my TCPA ANNUAL REVIEW is finished! *woo*
Yes, I just woo’d for myself– but this is a big deal.
As you (should) already know, I start each year with a review of all the TCPA cases that were decided the previous year. And 2021 will be no different. Well, there is one little difference—we’ll get to that at the end of this intro.
This year’s Annual Review is 35 single-spaced pages of analysis, covering hundreds of cases–all broken down by topic for ease of use and digestion. I cover all the big splits of authority, key issues, provide tips, and even identify the Best and Worst Cases and Trends of the Year!
Wow!
As always, this year’s Review was a labor of love–it took me nearly 100 hours!–that I write personally. I consider it my duty as the Czar of the TCPA to read and digest every single case and share my knowledge and analysis with all of you.
After all, TCPA defense is all I do; all day, every day for the last twelve years. Eesh—do I look that old?
Don’t answer that.
Anyway, for those of you that are new to my Annual Reviews, I discuss only TCPA cases decided in 2020, identifying key trends and pitfalls along the way. (If you are interested in purchasing a copy of my TCPA practice guide—still the nation’s only comprehensive TCPA resource—that includes discussion of cases from past years you can find that here: https://ceb.com/debt-collection-practice-in-california)
Of course you already know about the BIGGEST TCPA-related news of the 2020–the massive success of TCPAWorld.com!
What a rocket ship. The site racked up hundreds of thousands of views in 2020 with our award-winning blog continuing to break all the TCPA news with fun and insightful articles. (We love you all!)
Plus the Unprecedented podcast has shifted to a VIDEO format bringing even more attention to the site and allowing our listeners (now viewers) to see us for the first time.
Um, sorry about that. 🙂
Oh and did I mention the launch of consumerprivacyworld.com? It just launched in July and it is already a go-to resource for breaking news and views concerning the vast landscape of privacy litigation in the United States. It is absolutely raking in the views with outstanding groundbreaking content every day—really amazing stuff.
I am proud that Squire Patton Boggs has invested the resources to create these premier resources for TCPA and privacy related news and views.
But enough about our awesome websites, what was that one little difference I mentioned regarding the Review? Well this year, TCPAWorld.com and Squire Patton Boggs has partnered with Drips in preparing the Review, which will lovingly be known as Squire Patton Boggs’ 2020 TCPA Year End Review, Presented By Drips.
Its like the Rose Bowl, only its a TCPA review.
So how do you get this totally FREE–did I mention that part yet?–and absolutely critical piece of TCPA analysis?
Well, all you have to do is ask me! It is free to all! (Unless you’re a plaintiff’s lawyer– no bad guys allowed.)
Just give me a shout and we’ll send you copies as soon as the printers are done with it (should be a week or less.)
And yes, even all of my followers at other big law firms–I never out you– can get a free copy of my analysis. But you still have to ask me for it. NO Exceptions!
(Except you Kingmaker.)
