QUICK UPDATE ON FLORIDA ROBOCALL BILL– It Hasn’t Been Presented to the Governor Yet (Probably)

Well I hope you rested up over the long weekend TCPAWorld because it looks like we’re going to have a busy week.

Quick update for those waiting with baited breath on weather Florida will enact the nation’s first “Mini-TCPA”– the Baron has run this down and determined that the Florida robocall bill (S. 1120) had not yet been “presented” to the Governor.

Remember, once “presented” the Governor has 10 days to sign, veto or “do nothing.” If he does nothing it still becomes law.

So, for now, no new Robocall bill in Florida.

We’ll keep an eye on this.
