Well, here it is. What everyone in the Medicare space has been waiting for (or maybe not).
CMS just dropped its pre publication on its 2024 Final Rule. You can read it here: CMS Pre Publication. It is scheduled to be published in the Federal Register on April 12, 2023.
We are reviewing and our CMS wonk, the Countess will be reporting our analysis on it very shortly. But in the meantime there may be some peace of mind for TPMOs and the lead generation industry in the Medicare space:
“We are not addressing our proposal to prohibit TPMOs from distributing beneficiary contact information in this final rule and may address it in a future final rule.”
