Everybody knows about the big loss by QuoteWizard last week. The “old lead gen” industry is dead as a doornail.
The future is the vibrant R.E.A.C.H. community–setting standards and working with the regulators to assure a holistic environment where calls are connected (and answered.)
So massive R.E.A.C.H. board and member meeting last Friday.
Already floated that AI standards are being set–including potential DISCLOURE REQUIREMENTS on both outbound and INBOUND AI communication platforms.
Absolutely massive decision to be made there and as I state in this video, as the president of the organization I will support whatever the tech committee recommends on that piece:

But there’s an even bigger change coming.
R.E.A.C.H. Standards V.2.0. are set to upend the lead generation industry by BANNING the use of highest bidder auctions to determine whose name a consumer sees on a form (or the order in which those forms are presented) unless the consumer is clearly told the result is “sponsored” or “promoted”. Here’s a clip breaking this down:

Final standards will be out September 6, 2024.
AI standards will be out within 45 days as well.
If you want to have a hand in crafting the future its not too late to join the movement. Otherwise you’ll just be stuck on the sidelines.

Speaking of massive changes, has R.E.A.C.H enlisted any (of the promised at inception) plaintiffs attorneys, consumer advocates, or actual consumers (plaintiffs?) for the truly well rounded perspective needed yet?
Did I miss the announcement(s)?
Just to get the ball rollin’ some potentials could be any of the TCPA World Top 10 Power Ranked attorneys; consumer advocate Doc Compton; and maybe Mark Dobronski and/or Diana Mey…
