As everyone knows Troutman Amin, LLP is more than just a law firm. It is a 360 degree lifestyle brand with LOVE for all!

Since it is a bit of a slow news week around here—I know, I know, I just jinxed it– I figured I’d catch everybody up on what’s going on around here from now until the end of the year.

So tomorrow the Czar will be speaking at the FTC’s open meeting– need to get some clarity on this whole “regulating by social media thing.” Yep the FTC will be answering MY QUESTIONS about what they’re up to and what we should make of their recent… guidance. You’ll definitely want to tune in for that!

Then I am connecting with some staffers on the hill about something super secret I am not talking about publicly just yet. But it could be pretty dang big.

Then I am meeting with others on behalf of R.E.A.C.H. with FCC Commissioner Carr’s office about the pending NPRM proceeding–hoping to keep some breathing room for the industry here.

And that’s all just tomorrow.

Hahahaha

It is pretty weird to be the Czar, I’ll be honest. How a humble attorney from California ended up at the center of telecom policymaking in this nation is a story that someone will have to tell someday. But for now.. .fun!

BTW I bolded the TCPA Summit because that is literally the most important event of the year for those who are imbedded in TCPAWorld. I think it is even more important than the Law Conference of Champions because it is 2 days of TCPA glory and the LCoC is only one day and includes a lot of privacy and AI content. So if TCPA is your thing MAKE SURE you are at the Summit. It DOES sell out! More on that soon.

But anyway, as you can tell there is a lot going on around here and a lot of opportunity for YOU to meet with your favorite legal rock stars and rock starlettes. Tons of fun.
