So Locke Lord and Troutman Pepper are discussing a merger.

It makes sense on a number of levels.

I suppose I support it.

The locke lord guys are pretty cool.

The Troutman guys.. well, I’m warming up to them. Even despite this. And this.

#biglaw is crumbling. Has been for years. Plain to the eye.

They have to keep merging to survive. Desperate attempts to stay relevant.

What a joke.

I wonder how much the client paid for the work that was copied and pasted? $80k? $200k? $500k?

None of those numbers would surprise me.

Its all crumbling. And that’s ok.

Fair warning though #biglaw–if I catch you copying Troutman Amin’s work and we WILL sue.

I know, you’ve been doing it already.

Amnesty.

All previous copy catting is forgiven. But starting today– no more copying our briefs.

I mean it.

That goes for all of you. Even the fans.
