“When we take control again and we have unified government – when we have the White House, the Senate and the House – we’re going to have the most aggressive first 100 days agenda that, Congress, you’ve ever seen.”
-Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.
Well Republicans have got their wish.
Today it was announced Republicans have won the house, to go with the Senate and presidency, and the Court. And since Trump rules the Republican party with an iron fist– having run all “RINOs” out of the party entirely– the man now sets the agenda for the entire nation.
And, again, that means Trump is set to become the most powerful man in the history of the world come January.
Controlling both chambers of Congress means Republicans can enact laws now and not just nibble around the enforcement edges. It means they can print federal judges. It means Trump can whisper complex enactments into effect.
And as I have already said, everything is on the table.
If you feel like it should probably be unconstitutional for one guy to control all three branches of the government and have them work together to enact policies that only a tiny percentage of people actually want — it definitely is! But hey, political parties– amiright?
So strap in because it is going to be a hell of a ride!
I will be chatting these issues through a bit today at ANA Masters of Advertising Law– my MAIN STAGE session is going to be PACKED. People are incredibly excited to see the Czar speak in person (this group rarely gets the opportunity) so tons of energy around it.
But the real show is Thursday at 10 am pacific.
That’s when I will be joining Michael Ferree to provide my FIRST TAKE on what the new Republican reign will mean for TCPAWorld, one-to-one consent, revocation, state mini-TCPAs, the FCC and more.
This thing will be live on LinkedIn and multiple YouTube channels to make sure it doesn’t go down. So sign up, tune in, and get ready to have your minds blown. :):):)
Chat soon!

were you equally hysterical when Obama had control? Biden? the republic still stands in spite of past monopolies of power, and will continue to after this one.
unfortunately fear mongering hyperboles will continue as well.
