TCPAWORLD AFTERDARK: how is #biglaw melting down? let us count the ways….

poor #biglaw.

It was inevitable that big law firms that prioritize greed and profits over client service would eventually crumble but it is still kind of sad to see.

So #biglaw layoffs are rampant right now. profits are down. no clients want to stick around to be gouged– and this is with a strong economy.

#biglaw shops are basically zombie institutions. no cohesion. no brand. no strength. just a conglomerate of dudes (and a very few gals) with some relationships that they hope don’t turn to dust. really bad formula.

no expertise. no wisdom. no judgment.

no future.

anyhoo, all the big law firms are laying people off it seems and then…

others are reaping the consequences of all the data breaches.

Remember this?

And this?

And this?

well, clients do. And they’re suing.

(and they should).

But then again, they really  shouldnt have beem using #biglaw in the first place.

I wonder if “hey you were dumb enough to use #biglaw so you had it coming” is an affirmative defense?

Oh, BTW–Troutman Amin, LLP is HIRING while all the big law firms are DYING.

I wonder why?

Goodnight everybody.
