GETTING IT DONE!: “Robocalls” Are Down By 1.5BB a Month As R.E.A.C.H. Has Massive Impact On Reducing Unwanted Calls

So back when I had former FCC Commissioner O’Reilly on my podcast a couple years ago robocalls had just hit their peak of about 5.8BB calls a month.

Last month robocalls in this nation dropped to just 4.3BB–an ENORMOUS drop of over 1.5BB per month. Without question the hard work of Responsible Enterprises Against Consumer Harassment (R.E.A.C.H.) has played a MAJOR role in this reduction–as has other initiatives by the FCC as well.

Now we had the head of the Robocall Index–Alex Quilici–on the podcast the other day and he wouldn’t quite praise R.E.A.C.H. as the driving force behind the change, but there is no question that R.E.A.C.H.’s laser focus on cutting down on fraud and unwanted sale of consumer data between businesses has resulted in MUCH fewer robocalls and better consumer privacy all around.

Still Congress is holding a MASSIVE hearing on robocalls and the TCPA  TOMORROW and the work of R.E.A.C.H. is expected to figure prominently over the hearing.

While the NCLC continues to push the false narrative that legitimate American businesses don’t care about TCPA compliance, the facts show just the opposite. R.E.A.C.H. members pledge themselves to the highest standards and protect consumer privacy and contact preferences–assuring that every outbound calls is made ONLY to consumers who want to receive them.

The NCLC’s true agenda is to drive TCPA litigation–from which they generate massive revenue. And, of course, TCPA lawsuits are SPIKING this year— up DOUBLE DIGITS– even as robocall numbers drop.

Its a real shame and I hope somebody is talking about it at tomorrow’s hearing.
